I was selected and contributed to "Quenched", the curated 2cd Annual Water-Thirst Art Benefit held at the Goss/Michael Foundation June 16, 2012.  The special guest curator was Aja Martin of the Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas, Texas.

Winston Lee Mascarenhas to appear in New American PaintingsWade Wilson Artist Winston Lee Mascarenhas has been selected to appear in New American Paintings, No. 102, West Issue. Each edition of this critically acclaimed periodical results from a highly competitive juried competition. Thousands of artists enter the competition each year, but only a handful are selected to be featured in New American Paintings. Mascarenhas will receive a full-color spread in the upcoming West Issue. Congratulations Winston Lee Mascarenhas on this honor!Additionally, Wade Wilson Art Houston is pleased to announce a joint exhibition featuring new and recent works by Justin Garcia and Winston Lee Mascarenhas. Both artist explore the translucent and the illuminated along with depths of color thorough various techniques. Wade Wilson Art Houston and this new exhibition are in collaboration with ArtHouston, a celebration of new and established artists shown in galleries across the city. The exhibit opens with a reception for the artist from 6-8 pm on Thursday, July 12, 2012 and will remain on view through Saturday, August 18, 2012.
