I will be one of ten featured artists showcasing a new work and a collaborative piece with Andy Kim of Boka Powell Architecture.
Rite of Spring was awarded the prestigious Hunting Art Prize 2014 Saturday evening May 3rd at a gala benefiting Patriot PAWS Service Dogs.
Jurors included: Marie Bosarge, Art Collector and Founder of Music Doing Good, Inc., a nonprofit arts organization in Houston, Texas; Leila Cartier, Director of Exhibitions and Curator at William King Museum in Abingdon, Virginia; and Stephen Wicks, the Barbara W. and Bernard E. Bernstein Curator at the Knoxville Museum of Art in Tennessee. Rite of Spring has been selected as finalist for the 2014 Hunting Art Prize. The recipient of the prize will be announced at the gala on May 3, 2014 in Houston, TX.
